Upgrade anytime downgrade

My current contract is on the upgrade anytime plan. I can upgrade for 100 pound at the moment but wondered if I could downgrade at this time or even return the phone and downgrade to a sim only plan as my job now may not be safe thanks to covid.

@PENFOLD1984  if you’re taking advantage of the upgrade anytime offer that your contract gives you then you have to have the same or more most costly tariff.  If you within the last 45 days of your contract you can have any tariff you choose.  

 

Your contract is still a 24 month contract but you can upgrade anytime at a cost and within the T&Cs of the anytime upgrade offer.

You might also want to read THIS about the costs involved for you.  

if you want to lower your tariff then you need to pay off your contract to the minimum term this might be more than the £100 that EE want for you to upgrade early.
