After contract ended, upgrade overdue

Pamjos
Explorer

I paid 1st bill in advance then monthly on 26th by direct debit.My upgrade was due more than a month ago.

Account is in credit as a direct debit wasn't cancelled.

3 questions:

a) Do I need to give 30 days notice to close account instead of upgrade?

b) Can I cancel direct debit as 26th November is for month ending 26th December

c) Can I request repayment of credit balance anytime?

Thanks for any help

@Pamjos :

  1. Yes, unless you move to another network using a PAC or STAC from EE on or after the end of your min. term.
  2. I wouldn't! You might be due for a refund for a few days overlap.
  3. Yes, for a significant amount. I believe over £50.
