Unlock codes

I requested codes to unlock my Huawei p40 dual sim online, it said it wasn't locked to ee, however I've now been sent 2 unlocking codes, 1 for each imei number, but now how do i use the codes to unlock them please, as I haven't received a email I don't want to fall as long wait times

@Haddock1982   Put a different network sim in the phone and you should then be able to enter the unlock code for your device for that sim slot.
