Unlimited data £5 for 5 days

Hi,

 

I received an offer giving me unlimited data for £5 which will last for 5 days on 17/12/2020. In the message it clearly states that I can reuse the add-on until early January by replying to the message.

 

When I first tried I got the message:

 

Sorry we weren't able to add this offer, please try again later, don't forget that any existing Add On that you may have need to have expired before you can add another.

And I did indeed have a data add-on at the time. I therefore burned through my data and tried again but keep getting the same message. I currently have no add-one at all with my PAYG number (where I received the message) and feel a bit conned about the fact that I now need to use the credit I have much less efficiently.  Please could somebody at EE explain why I have been sent an offer that I cannot redeem.

similar thing happened to me, got a similar message from EE but cld never add the offer to my account - see my post here -

I also quickly burned the little data i had thinking that after that the offer will work but never did 😞
