So I’m seeing a subscription charge of £0.25 every few days on my account with no idea what it is as I’ve never subscribed to anything and for the number 01494 750 678. Anyone any ideas what this is and how I stop it?
thanks

Update: so shortcode 82222 is shared by hundreds of companies none of which I have heard of or signed up for.
I tracked it down to some lotto updates text which I never signed up for, why I would need this 3 times a day is beyond me! I’m asking for all information on when this happened and on what website I visited started this even though they’ve stopped it I think we all need to know why this happens so we can stop it easier should it happen again!
keep you posted!

HI @DRC2
That shortcode is registered to tap2bill so you should contact them initially.

Yeah, I emailed them and they told me I had to email someone else as they had ceased trading, completely confusing this is how I found out who it was.

The PSA checker should be accurate, but they still list tap2bill as well as Tube alerts and lottery results.

It's strange how you get the tap2bill number if they have ceased trading though!
If you aren't getting anywhere, go to the PSA.
