Dear EE,
My phone recently switched from contract to pay as you go, where I have topped up £15.
I am currently unable to make or recieve phone calls from abroad (I currently live in Belgium). I am unable to even call 150 / voicemail. I just get the message "your call is barred, please try again later".

All new EE PAYG SIMs need to be used in the UK first before they will work abroad, this includes migrations from pay-monthly.
At the risk of asking a silly question, but for clarity's sake, has this SIM been used in the UK since it was migrated from pay-monthly? If it hasn't, then you will need to do so before it will work abroad.

That's brilliant. Why wasn't I told that this morning when I asked about PAYG? I'm stuck in Spain, for who knows how long, due to the Pando, and can't get back to "activate" the SIM. Online chat doesn't work, can't phone 150 (number barred) no email address to bitch to. Guess that'll be the last £5.00 I send EE's way.
