Transferred number from O2 to EE but new phone number has not changed

I’ve just got a new contact with EE and transferred my old number to my new iPhone 11. I received a text this morning from O2 to say sorry you’re leaving and then my old sim/phone stopped working. I restarted my new phone but the number hasn’t changed... 

 

I've tried this a few times and I’ve tried turning iMessage and face time off (and on again after rebooting the phone). I don’t know what to do? Please can someone help, I can’t get through to EE on the phone or through the online chat

When did you transfer your number over? As @BrendonH , has written, this may happen over night, so will have to wait and see if it has all transferred and you are up and running, otherwise you will have to ring customer service to find out why, as this is a public forum a and there is no account access.
