I got my EE sim on Friday and filled in the online form to transfer my old number to it. A few minutes later I got a confirmation email which said that it would take one day (since it was completed Mon-Fri)
I'm still waiting. Any advice on how long it might take?

It's Sunday today it only happened Monday to Friday.
So requesting it on Friday will mean it'll be transferred on Monday.

That's not what the email said! "If completed Mon-Fri 8-5 it will take one day. If completed at week-end or bank holiday it will take two days" That's not an exact quote but that was the gist of it.
Ah well I'll see what tomorrow brings

Yes the email is staying..
Request .onday to Friday and it'll be next day.
Request. Transferred
Monday. Tuesday
Tuesday. Wednesday
Wednrsday. Thursday
Thursday. Friday
Friday. Monday
As ports dont happen at weekends
If you request on a weekend the port doesn't start until the next working day.
So if you request on a Saturday or Sunday it won't start til Monday and then complete on Tuesday.

Thanks for that explanation. I understand but the email is slightly misleading! Maybe they should include that table.
