Smart switch without sim

Hannahlou1989

Hi everyone,

I have upgraded from sim only contract to mobile contract. New phone arrived today however no sim as I will use my current one. How do I transfer all my stuff from old phone to new without 2nd sim? Can I still use Smart Switch? If so how?

Thank you.

Hi @Hannahlou1989

You haven't said what devices you have.

Smart switch will work just fine without a SIM in the device you are moving data from. If you have a new Samsung phone you will likely have a USB - C double ended cable. Use that to transfer data.

Or back up your old phone on Google Drive.

Thanks

Samsung Smart Switch works over Bluetooth or a USB cable.
