Hello. I live on a remote farm in Devon , had a nightmare with BT and switched to the 4 gee router. Its been great, download speed in the high 20’s. BT was 2 mbs on a good day.
suddenly it gone down to under 10 mbs. Spent an hour and a half with tech tech and they said it may be the mast, we then got cut off and they’re didn’t ring back. Takes an hour to get through....everyone working from home ...
if I have the blue nerwok light on I get no bars of signal. If I get a bar or two I get a slightly better download but stil about 7 or 8 mbs it no network blue , it’s green light.
the router is in the attic , the highest point and I was wondering if an antennae would work?
do I need the blue network light more than the bars ?
or the other way around ? cant get both !
Thanks
Cathy
