Hi,
Went to my local EE store in Oldham for an upgrade three days ago. Upgraded to an IPhone XR with the contract price as expected. Was offered an iWatch SE for, as the assistant explained the ‘no brainer’ price of £12. Agreed as the price was acceptable after confirming this included cellular costs rather than just phone.
Change of shop assistant then happened to complete the purchase - was told original had a booked appointment and I was a walk in.
Receipt was emailed to me and not seen while in the store and in view of COVID restrictions not shown the contract to read just asked to sign in the boxes.
I’ve noticed the contact cost is £22 and confirmed this on my account. Of course this is the standard price on the EE website and therefore no offer at all!
Do I have any right to protest to EE in this situation as while I signed up I feel the offer was misrepresented.
Thanks

Hi @DrRob123
EE stores and online are different sales outlets with different offers.
You should have considered the deal before going ahead as buyers remorse is not covered by any return policy. If however you feel you were miss sold then you need to take this up with the store.
Thanks

Thanks,
You confirm what I thought.
I have no remorse over taking out a contract for the watch; my issue is the ‘deal’ as explained in store was clearly misrepresented and is not what I’ve ended up with.
I do feel this was miss sold and will take it up with the store.

Hi @DrRob123
Welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with the way your contract was sold. Have you spoken to the store in question about this?
I'm sure they'll do their best to help you.
