Hi,
I got a Samsung Galaxy 3 4G watch (as a present)
I have an android phone but it is not a samsung
When i try and pair - i get the following message EE doesnt offer mobile plans for your watch
so It appears that EE only allows connections to Samsung Phones
No other network has it this way!!
Is there a way around this - i really dont want to buy a Samsung phone to use with my watch its supposed to be the other way around!!
So i read on a EE forum that if once you get the data plan for the watch you can do the following:
for initial set up Put the sim card in a >2017 Samsung -
Do the pairing using the app
Put the Sim card back in your android phone
and it should work
Can anyone confirm this is the case please?
or if they have any other workarounds for this?
Would be so grateful!!!
Thanks in Advance
Regards
Hatem

Hi @hatembomb
You need to call EE CS on 150 and speak to their technical support. There was issues adding Android watches purchased from outside of EE, to plans some time ago which I'm not sure was fixed (same message you received).
Thanks
