Hi
I'm looking for some advice about where to direct this query as I'm getting nowhere with Samsung at all.
Essentially the phone is proving to be highly unreliable and I don't think it is fit for purpose which seems ridiculous after less than 6 months of use!
Problems include (but not limited to):
Keyboard issues (i) - if you use an emoji the next letter you type then freezes the phone for 1-2 minutes.
Keyboard issues (ii) - the keyboard frequently becomes stuck in its maximised state which means you cannot use Apps properly.
Poor battery performance
Poor biometric sensor performance
Worst of all is Samsung's "my account" service which has locked me out and their technical department do not seem to be able to help me to fix the problem.
Really what I'd like to do is to speak with someone at EE to ask if I have any options to transfer to a better phone, but the myriad of options means it's difficult to decide who to speak to and with waiting times being so long at the moment I'm reluctant to wait on hold in case it's to the wrong department. I really rely on my phone as I am a GP so in the current climate with remote working I need to have a handset that works reliably.

@DrSF If you want to change the device you’ll need to purchase a different device outright as EE will not swap it for a different device. As the device is only 6 months old it’s under warranty and Samsung will honour that warranty if you want to make a claim on that warranty. You could just call EE customer services and ask for the device to be looked at obviously you’ll go without a device. If your unsure of what options to choose from when calling just press any number that’s not an option as this will put you through to customer services.

Have you done a full backup of all the data on your phone and done a factory reset?
If your phone has software issues, that will often fix them, or certainly assist in troubleshooting. If there's a hardware fault which could result in a warranty claim, then it helps prove it.

@DrSF Take a look here, specifically the "The First Six Months" and "Six Months or More" parts. That's your legal standing with the issue. It's up to you to see how your personal circumstances apply to this.
