Not a happy bunny. On Saturday I pre-ordered the S21 + 256gb in black as it said it would be delivered on day of launch. Not a word all day today about despatch so I checked the stock and it's now saying expect up to 14 days for delivery.
I got on to Live Chat to see if it would be possible to switch my order to the silver as it is still saying delivery on launch day but they said not possible. How hard can it be to change my order from a phone that isn't in stock to one that is?
Now i regret not going for the Oppo Find x2 Pro which I could have got on Monday.

Pre ordering is not a guarantee of getting on launch day.
If you change your phone even only the color you'll go to the back of the queue.

When they say "Expect delivery to you on day of launch" underneath the model of phone, that is pretty much a guarantee. They know how much stock they have and how many pre-orders so they should change the stock levels as soon as they empty, not a couple of hours before customers are expecting their new phone.
Even if I changed colour and went to the back of the queue I would probably still get it on launch day as it is still saying in stock.

Expect delivery is not a guarantee
You can expect it but it may not be.
They don't know how much stock they are getting.
The phone comes straight from Samsung to you. It doesn't pass through EE warehouse.
If you changed color you will most defiantly not get it on launch day.
