Return of Mistakenly-Bought Phone

Hi can someone advise please..

I mistakenly bought another phone instead of upgrading my existing (EE) one recently. The guys at EE Newcastle support managed to unpick what had happened (I thought I'd just upgraded after my old phone's contract had finished) and managed to cancel the mis-bought phone and upgrade my old deal as I'd initially wanted.

As such I now have two identical Sony L4 phones in the house:

1. The one I mis-bought (The guys in Newscastle said they's "send a Jiffy envelope" to ensure it's safe return but this hads't happened yet).

2. And the upgraded phone I wanted initially (which is all fine now).

I've since sent two emails to the EE channel returns address supplied on paperwork with the phone. In both cases they've clearly been recieved and I've had an automated mail from EE saying they would attend to my enquiry withion '48 hours'. It's been a number of days since I first emailed now though and I've heard exactly nothing back unfortunately.

My initial good experiences of EE's support is swiftly being offset by the lack of promised Jiffy envelope (it's now a week or so after I was promised this, beyond 14 days) and the lack of replies to my returns emails..

Could someone assist or advise here please as I simply wish just to return the mis-bought phone.

Thanks, Andy

If you ordered online or by phone you may cancel the order FoC before or during the statutory 14-day cooling-off period from delivery & then reorder what you really want.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Hi no this isn't helpful at all (XRaySPex) and seems only like a generically-generated auto-reply based on some computer alogrithm that saw the word 'returns'.

It doesn't respond the key points of my asks I'm afraid. Could I have a human look over/digest these asks please.

Hi @AndyStevo

I've sent you a private message to get some informaiton from you.

Could you have a look and get back to me please?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Your operative called me yesterday lunch and she assured me that she'd sorted the long awaited Jiffy envelope for the return of the mis-bought/unused phone.

I'll wait to see if one arrives and take from there,

Thanks, Andy
