On the fourth time of ordering a replacement sim, I finally received one after nearly 5 weeks! Trouble is, it doesn't have my number on it, nor any other number, just a bunch of zeros!! I really don't want to phone so called customer services again, I have wasted to many hours talking to people who don't know what on earth they are doing. Any ideas please?

EE are currently useless mate. I ordered a sim, paid £1.50 and it never arrived. Phoned CS,  no record if me ordering, said they put one in the post, never arrived. 2 weeks later phoned again, new one in post, never arrived. Now 5 weeks, no sim. Phoned again, one in post, arrived 3 days later, Yeah! NOT! bloody thing is numberless, won't work. I think they have staff grudge issues. I still have no phone!

Hi @Gettingmad

I'm sorry to hear that it took a few attempts to get a replacement SIM delivered.

Was your old SIM card lost/stolen?

Chris

The sim was wrecked by CS continually asking me to take it out & put it in again for no good reason other than to go through the tick boxes on their screens before they then GI in to let you down again!

Could you try restarting your phone, @Gettingmad?

Do you have a network signal on the phone? What happens when you text NUMBER to 150?

Chris

Got to have rebooted the phone at least 10 times over the past 4 days. Miraculously though in the last hour or so I do now have a signal and can call folk. Don't know why its taken so long though. My number is still a bunch of zeros though and I can't really tell its all Tickety boo until I go out somewhere as I don't have a signal around my home.

Thanks for letting us know, @Gettingmad.

What phone are you using? In some phones, you can manually update the number.

Jon

The phone no. in your settings doesn't matter. Texting NUMBER to 150 will reply your actual mobile no. on the network.
