Hi,
I have a p20 lite which was repaired through EE for screen burn in April 2020.
The repair centre replaced the screen on the device. Fast forward until last week when the screen stopped working on the phone. The backlight comes on but now images are displayed.
At first I thought it may be a software issue and wanted to factory reset it to see if this works but which no display it proved difficult then the screen briefly decided to work. Although not enough time to factory reset it.
I managed to remote factory reset it through Google but no improvement.
I know the phone is working as when you call it rings. There is no physical damage to the phone and it has not been in contact with any water.
My only thoughts are that when the repair was completed a connection was not secured properly. The phone is now out of contract but used by my daughter.
As such I was wondering if the repair came with a 12 month warranty?

Hi @Kst_fan
Welcome to the EE Community,
If the repair was carried out under the manufacturers warranty and the phone is now out of warranty then unfortunately it would now be a chargeable repair.
Thanks,
David.
