Reactivating closed account

I have been abroad for almost 2 years. I changed my EE number to PAYG before I left, but I haven't used it since. I try to log on to my EE account and it says my account is closed. However, I can still receive OTP text messages on the SIM.

How do I get the phone reactivated please?

Hi @milliejames

Welcome to the EE Community,

unfortunately as it's been almost 2 years there is no way of reactivating your PAYG account.

you can order a free replacement PAYG sim with a new number here

Thanks,

David.

@milliejames : It was too late when you left it unused for over 9 months.

EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
