My phone is dead from lack of use.  I would like to reactivate it, but I am stuck in the Czech Republic because of Covid.  Is there a partner company here where I could top it up, keeping the same number?  Dialling 150 goes to the emergency services.

Hi @honza3 and welcome to the community

It sounds like you're on PAYG, in which case this is likely due to the hibernation policy

The help page I've linked to, explains the timescales involved and the actions needed to recover a hibernated number.

EE is a UK operator, and doesn't have any "top-up" arrangement with providers in other countries.

@honza3 No, you can't keep your UK no. on a Czech network.

Are you on contract or PAYG?

Hi @honza3

Thanks for coming to the community.

When your number is in hibernation, it is still possible to get it back until you’ve reached 269 days of no chargeable activity, if you get in touch with our Customer Care team, they can check your account for you.

If you have not used the SIM for more than 273 days the number will be recycled and lost.

Thanks.

Leanne.
