You should be prompted to log in when entering 192.168.1.1 into your browser, @sarahcwilliams.

Hi,
I'd seen this in previous posts and tried it loads of times, but it just says this site can't be reached 😞
Our broadband is via the 4GEE mobile network - not sure if this makes a difference?
Any help you can give would be much appreciated
TIA

OK thanks @sarahcwilliams
Could you try on a different device please? Does the same thing happen?

Yep - same on any device.
I checked the back of the router and it says 192.168.8.1 so I tried that and it worked, but I got myself into a right pickle with passwords and ended up locking myself out and having to reset the router - hence the radio silence!
So i'm back to square one, lol! It asks for a password to get in - router password (?) on the back of the router - then give you the option to change the name and another password (?), and then asks you to change yet another password, but i've no idea which one it is either so have had to leave it all - unless you can shed any light??

Ah, OK thanks, @sarahcwilliams
You use Username: admin, Password: admin to log into the admin hub.
There you can change the password for users to access your WiFi.

Unlikely to be admin, admin, if it's a 192.168.8.1 login then its probably a Huawei. A lot of Huawei's now you cannot use the Default Login after a Reset ,you have to change it after first login.
Nothing stopping you to change it back to admin. admin, but Huawei's tend to sulk if you get the Passwords wrong and then lock you out for a few mins after the third attempt, can be quiet frustrating if your unaware of the lockout and keep trying to login.
If you not giving your WiFi Password out to Tom, **bleep** and Harry then the easiest way is to set the Admin Password to the same as the Router WiFi password, that way once it's set you unlikely to forget it, in fact on a lot of Huawei's there's a tick box on Login to do this after a Reset.
