I changed the access for certain devices on my WIFI to stop my two teens using devices at night - just found out that one of them has worked out how to access the router settings and unblocked his device! I have resisted the temptation to give him hell, but want to be able to set restrictions without them accessing this area of the settings again. If I change the router password they will have to know it to access anything - and that would be a nightmare having to change every device in the house - I only want them not to be able to access the router settings - not disable the WIFI completely - Can this be done?

@Potts571 : Your kids have got into the router & can change its settings cuz they can easily read its admin pwd off the slider label on the back of the router. To stop them doing this all you have to do is change the router's admin pwd & don't tell anyone. They don't need to access any of its settings. All they need is the WiFi pwd so they can connect their individual devices. That does not give them access to any of the router's settings.
You can change the admin pwd on the Advanced Settings / System / Admin Pwd page.

Thank you, I'd thought that was the thing to do after some googling, I have now changed the admin password, didn't mention it to the boys......gosh there were grumpy faces the following morning when they'd realised I'd put the restrictions back. I Did have a laugh when they told me one had asked their IT teacher how to access router settings, next parent's meeting at school will be interesting! 🤣
I appreciate your help 👍
