Re: Can I get an old number back?

I've been stuck abroad for more than a year because of coronavirus and just realised my payg number is no longer working.

I wanted to look at the hibernation link but it says

"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action"

(even when I've logged in)

Please can you help?

If you have not used the phone number for more than 9 months then I am afraid you have lost the number and any credit on the account.

The credit I dont mind but the number is a bit annoying.

I spoke to EE customer service - they said it might be possible to get back if it hasnt been assigned to anyone else in the meantime.

No guarantee but worth a go I suppose.

I wouldn't hold your breathe the advisor maybe just stating this I haven't heard of anyon every getting their number back
