Good day,
I would like to get some clarification on the price increase that is scheduled to happen on the 31st of March if I understood the terms correctly.
I signed up for a new broadband contract with EE yesterday. I am thinking of cancelling as I've learnt about the price hike but would like to clarify something in case I got it wrong. The broadband is planned to become active on the 22d of March. Will I be subject to the price hike a week later on the 31st of March or this won't happen as I will only have been in the new contract for a week by then?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Your monthly fees will subject to the CPI + 3.9% increase on 31 Match if you are already on contract on or before that day.

Thanks for confirming! This means I was given incorrect information this morning when I called EE to cancel as I was assured that in my case there would be no price increase.
It's interesting that it's so easy to sign up online, yet in order to cancel I am having to call EE and then EE tries to tell me falsehoods in order to convince me to stay.
