I've taken out a new contract in last few weeks and ported my number across, signal isn't great inside my place of work and so my husband has taken out another contract for me on a different network with the intention of keeping this ee one for himself, am I able to port my number again and just get a new number assigned to this contract? I've had it for years so don't really want the hassle of swapping it. Thanks

Hi @Lpk
On the specifics of your poor coverage, have you looked at using EE WiFi calling ? Anywhere that you have coverage issues for whatever reason, but access to WiFi - you can continue using your phone entirely as normal even if you have no coverage.
In terms of your porting out, how long ago did you connect your new phone and did you purchase it online, over the phone or in a retail store? If you connected within the last 14days, then I recommend a read of this EE help article which will outline your options.
If more than 14days have passed, then on the face of it, you are now contractually bound to your minimum term.

Hi, thanks for the reply, it was less than 14 days ago but I'm happy to keep the contract running as it will be adequate for my husband, the only thing I was hoping to do was transfer my number again and get him assigned a new number. As I've only just proved I wasn't sure this would be possible. Thanks

If you use a PAC to transfer your number, that also serves to cancel the contract to which that number relates.
You cannot transfer a number, and keep the underlying subscription running, the two processes are mutually contradictory. You can either do one, or the other - but not both.
