PAC code after contract ended

Help

my contract ended with EE yesterday. I’m trying to get the PAC code and move my number to a new provider but I can’t text 65075, call EE (as it’s saying the number is now invalid) or find it in the online account.

can anyone help? Have I lost the number?

cheers

Steve

Hi

thanks for replying, a silly mistake by me there!

luckily I managed to speak to a very helpful person at ee who has re-connected my contract as my notice period only expired today.

I requested the pac code and have it now!

Hi @Steve187

If your number has been disconnected, then it has now been lost.

If you had wanted to port it out, then using a PAC would have served as cancellation notice.

@Steve187   Did you call and give notice to terminate your contract?  If you did and the 30 day notice period has now passed then your number/account are now terminated.  You should of requested your PAC when you was within the 30 day notice period.   It’s now not possible to get your number back to port to a different network.
