Osprey Y855 Firmware Update

Hi,

I've just been given an Osprey Y855 and it has firmware version Y855_E1_01.11_09 on it which I understand is the factory release.  I've been told that there is a newer version available which is more stable, but when I click the Check for Update button on the router web interface, it doesn't update.  It comes up with a box saying Version Information Checking, and after a minute it then says Error.  

 

I've done a reset both in the interface and by the Power + WPS method but it still won't work.

 

Is there any other way to do an update?  Is there a firmware file for it that can be uploaded to it?

I've not updated mine for ages, and only use it periodically - thought I'd try and update it  today as vulnerabilities are found all the time, and also got the error message. 

 

Did you get it sorted?
