I upgraded my contract for iphone xs 256gb and then recived an email ..the phone is out of stock !!! Its 2 weeks now and still couldnt find the answer ...when if ever I will recive my new phone ....? Several times I asked upgrade and customer service via CHAT and nobody Knows ...When I asked about different phone for the same price ..NO CHANCES AT ALL COZ THEY WANT A LOTS MORE ..Does anyone has a same problem ?

@Dawidziatko2 if a device is out of stock EE will be waiting on Apple to deliver more devices to them. New devices than the XS do have higher prises and so you must pay that difference.
