Old device showing on myEE

Just upgraded (nice and easy) but my old device is showing on myEE still. Do

i need to call EE or is there a way to sort it myself?

It'll change eventually as you connect to it over the app. It's just cosmetic & in no way affects your use of the phone.

It's a little annoying that when I upgrade my phone my old device shows . Reading other peoples comments this is a known problem which been happening for several years , so surprised that EE don't have a solution other than telling people it will eventually change. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling clearing app data & cache and re-downloading & opening from mobile data and leaving connected for 24 hrs , but still showing old phone.. EE needs to provide a defined solution . If they can manage to update my contract & prices ( based on my new phone) they should at least ensuee my new phone us always showing

 

Mine has displayed the old device for 7-8 months now. Does anybody have a solution for this??

It's unusual that it hasn't updated after that long, @bencrabtree.

 

It won't affect your plan or usage or anything, but I can see why you would want it updated. Have you spoken to our mobile care team?
