Hi, i have had 2 orange mobile numbers , when the switch to EE came to pass i did that and when i tried to register my 2nd number i couldn't do it , my patience runs a bit thin when i don't see what i want . I recently switched my back up phone on to see the sim was no longer working - so does this mean someone else has it or is it still mine ? I've tried to look on here but there seems no way to register to my same PAYG account ! Any help is gladly appreciated .

Its been my Orange phone number for as long as i can remember and i tried to register it to my EE account with my other number and it wouldn't accept it , i've been trying to find out if EE have swallowed it up and given it to someone else .

Hi @jeffanmarty111

Welcome to the community.

Do you know when the last time you made a chargeable activity as below?

  • Voice and data usage. This includes making calls, sending text messages and picture messages, retrieving a voicemail, and using data that is not within your pack or add-on.
  • Topping up your account.
  • Buying a pack or an add-on.

Calls, texts and data usage made using your allowance from your pack do not count towards a chargeable activity.

If you haven’t used your phone for any chargeable activity for 179 days, your account will go into hibernation and any credit will be removed.

When your number is in hibernation, it is still possible to get it back until you’ve reached 269 days of no chargeable activity. Our Customer Care Team will be able to help you with this.

Thanks.

Leanne.
