I have been an EE customer for over 10 years with 4 contracts with them.
I have recently had to move one of my ‘lines’ to payg but to keep my number and stay using EE I had to port my number to another network and then back again.
the porting of the number from EE to the other. Network took approximately 24 hours to complete but the problem began when I then tried to bring the number back to EE. It has now been 5 days with endless excuses of why it hasn’t been done including, they lost the number they lost the pac code etc. Now they have told me I have to wait till Wednesday and assure me that I haven’t lost my number in the process even though when you dial it you get a long tone and two beeps and it hangs up so anyone who is trying to get in touch with me can’t.
not impressed at all. So I don’t recommend EE and am thinking of going elsewhere

@pulsapharer when did you request this number port as number ports do not happen over the weekend. And to change a contract to a pay-as-you-go you don’t need to move it to a different network to move it back to a pay-as-you-go you just request customer services to change it to a pay-as-you-go.
