New phone and sim

Swapping to old number and I can send messages on the number I’m on but I can’t use data and I’m not sure if there’s a issue or if it will start working after number change also it keeps saying edge

Welcome to the community,

 

Are you able to use your old SIM card, is it still working? If it is, then no need to use the new SIM card, I would put the old SIM card in the phone and if it works, then use that one.

 

EE sometimes send new SIM cards with new phones, not necessary to use if old one works.

My old sim is in my old phone it’s on the network Three not EE I just swapped

Could you restart your phone this morning? Has your number transfer now fully gone through?

Well I changed the number in my settings like I was told and it’s changed in my EE but I can’t even make calls and I can’t use my data
