New iPad sim problem

Sim works fine in old iPad, but not recognised in new iPad. In Settings, my network provider isn’t an option. Requests a qr code, but I don’t have one. Any suggestions?

@Jpank   What are the network names you are seeing on the new iPad ? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Jpank   The built in eSim is seeing these networks.  Why it’s not picking up EE I’m not sure but it looks like the iPad is not seeing the SIM card in the device to know there is a sim in the device.    

You should see something like this 

( this is on my iPhone I don’t have a cellular iPad )   You don’t need to press Add Data Plan as that’s for the eSim and your not using that. 


this is in Settings>Mobile Data.
