Hi I ordered a new SIM card at least ten days ago and I haven't received it yet, I wanted to keep the same as my old pay as you go SIM, I don't know if this takes longer.

But I think it has been lost in the post, I have received the paper work but no SIM as yet.

Hi @Jasonspalmer

Did you use the switch to pay monthly service? If you did, the transfer would normally be done immediately with no need for a new SIM.

How did you order the new SIM?

thanks for the reply bristolian I set up a yearly contract and when I signed up they was just a tick box to say you wanted to keep your current pay as you go phone number, I ticked it and they said they would send out a new SIM card, got an email saying it's on the way, if I didn't receive in seven days, report it.

I have just checked my balance on my pay as you go and it still gives me the balance.

I ordered through one of the link companies u switch I think that transfers you to the we website because it was ten pounds when I went through them.

I was hoping one of the staff can see the post and ask for details.

But thanks again for the reply.

Sorry, I'm not clear whether this transfer was done through EE direct, or a third party - in which case you might need to contact them.

Was the email confirmation from EE directly?

Thanks for the reply bristolian yes you go onto u switch, for abetter deal then the u switch site transfers you to the EE webpage for the deal, it just means you pay 10 pounds a month rather then the 15 it would cost on EE.

But the transaction is all EE I have received the bills but not the SIM card, and the bills are EE for the direct debit payments, I was hoping an adviser would comment and ask for details, but I will try phoning tomorrow.

Long story but I just moved house and didn't realise there is no land line option at the moment, as it's a new development and the council has to adopt the road before sky, bt ect can supply you with a land line, so I though I would get an EE contract sim till I can get a land line, so at the moment I have fibre broadband but no phone so I though I would see if anyone from EE asked for details, as I noticed other posts there were EE advisers asking for details.

But thanks for the comments.

Regards jason

Thanks for coming to the community.

I would recommend giving us a call so our customer care team can ensure your SIM has been posted and the transfer is happening.
