New PAYG Packs

For the last year I have been buying a £15 Pack every 30 days. I ensured that I had topped up enough credit for the Pack to automatically renew.

The PACK15 gives me unlimited UK Calll minutes, unlimited SMS texts and 8GB of Data. I have also accrued 4 x 500MB Boosts (=2GB) over the 12 months period, total 10GB/month.

I received a message informing me that the latest EE PAYG Packs have increased the amount of data included.

The new £15 Pack now includes 15GB.

Question:

Is there a process of switching to the new £15 PAYG PACK15 with 15GB of Data?

You'll just get the bigger new pack the next time your pack renews.

Thanks, that will be great if it all happens automatically.

My pack only just renewed a few days ago, so I’ve got 3 weeks or so to wait for confirmation..

Your prompt reply is already helpful and I’ll come back to this thread and mark it as the solution if and when every thing goes to plan.

Update:

My £15 PAYG Pack15 just renewed, but unfortunately it still only includes 8GB of Data + Boosters

It appears that to get the new 15GB Data Pack, it will be necessary to “Choose” the new PAYG Pack15

I’m just wondering if that will change my Boosters status?

I’m also a little reticent to “Choose” immediately, just in case I get charged again, so will probably leave things till next month.

i currently receive 8GB Data + 2.5GB (5x500MB) Boosters making 10.5GB.

If/when I choose the new Pack15 (15GB) and even if I loose my current boosters status, it looks as if I should still be 2.5GB to the good.

Ah well, I suppose nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Just a personal thought:

It does sometimes feel like current customers seem to be treated less favourably than new customers.

Whatever happened to loyalty?

Hi @j0hnh4rv3y.

When you move from one 30 day pack to another 30 day pack, you should keep your accumulated boosts.

If you'd like to be moved to the new pack our Customer Care team will be able to help with this.

Jon

Choose the new £15 Pack. You will pay for it now but it will be held pending until your current pack expires.

I finally bit the bullet and decided to select the Change Pack option in the Packs and Add-Ons section of MyEE App.
As mentioned by other contributors, on selection ofthe new 15GB Pack15 a few days before the end on my existing 8GB Pack15, I was charged £15 from my credit and the new pack was held pending until last night when the packs swapped over. Also my boosts stayed intact

Appears everything has worked out.
