New Lenovo m8 tablet won’t connect to EE network. Was working at one location

Bought new Lenovo tablet, inserted sim and connected to EE ok. Took to another location and it won’t connect. My phone also on EE gets a very good reception though.

The simple fix is often worth trying first, have you tried restarting the tablet or toggling flight mode on it? When you say it won't connect, what happens when you try to use data on it?

Many thanks for replying.

I have toggled everything on/ off and taken the sim out and replaced. When I turn the mobile data icon on I get a ? Mark. When I try to access the internet it says not connected

Do the tablet & your phone take the same size SIM?


Would you be able to swap the SIMs between the 2 devices, and see whether the issue follows the SIM or remains with the device?
