Hi I just want an NUC! I can't believe how difficult this is or how long it takes! This process started over 6 weeks ago!
I've emailed, I've spoken to customer services who said they had put through my request. Also I have filled in an online request form but still no NUC!!!!!
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR A HUMAN THAN CAN SORR THIS OUT?

All the information on unlocking your phone is available here;
I'm sorry to hear it is taking so long to get the unlock code! There isn't a public email to chase this up. The unlock can only be requested by logging in to MY EE, calling 150 or if it is a apple device by texting UNLOCK to 150.
The unlocking department aren't customer facing and all requests are by online or submitted over the phone. I would make sure you don't have anything in your spam/junk inbox folder with a response as once the request has been picked up you should get a email either with the code or with the next steps to making the £8.99 payment ( if applicable)

@Clareyp ,if you have had your IPhone for 18 months, it should be automatically unlocked.
It will also depend where you got your phone from, as to whether EE will unlock it.
I would advise you to take a look here if you have not already done so:
There is no email address for customer service, if you are still having problems, you will have to ring them.

OK so still having problems with getting an NUC!
* I have 3 numbers with EE so thought this would be easy.

* Pleeeeeeeasssse can someone help that dosent involve me spending even more hours on the phone or EE chat just to get nowhere!??
THANK YOU 😉

Thanks for reply. I bought it second hand as good as new but then it was in storage for a year as I moved. So recently tried to set it up as need it to replace my other one. I explained this all to EE on the phone twice & they still said I could get NUC!?

@Clareyp , where did you get it from second hand? Have you taken a look here:
To unlock a 2nd-hand phone you need to call Customer Services on +44 800 956 6000(option 2, option 4) to put you in touch with the Unlocking Team to request an Unlock Code. You will be asked for your email addy. They will take payment (of £8.99) from any valid UK bank card.
Once the process has been started you will receive an email from the Unlocking Team to process the unlock. It can take up to 10 days to complete the unlock.
But even so beware that EE could still refuse to unlock it. Many phones sold 2nd-hand have been reported lost or stolen, have been sold by the original owner when under 6 months old without EE's permission or have money ow ing on them.
If that is the case your only remedy is against whoever you got the phone from.

Thanks for your help, I've now finally been told by EE that the phone was originally on a corporate account & therefore cannot be unlocked unless requested by the companies corporate account manager! They advised me to contact that person even though I have no idea who this is or even the company name! Otherwise they said to contact the seller! Which I have tried but can't get hold of them!
So pleased that this has taken 2 months to get nowhere! Really would have appreciated being told this the first time I spoke to EE!
So still have a phone that cost me nearly £200 that I can't use!
Any other ideas? Other than spending out for a new phone that doesn't fit any of the vehicle cradles!

Hi @Clareyp
Thanks for coming back to us.
I am very sorry, you can't unlock a corporate device, the request would need to come from the account manager.
I hope you manage to get in touch with the seller, they may be able to help you with the unlock request.
Leanne.
