NEWSPLUS not working

Hi could anyone help please.  I have just upgraded to an iPhone and have text NEWSPLUS to 150.  The text I keep getting back is I don’t have an Apple product.  Can anyone help or have had similar.

@Hannahb3   If you look on your EE account does it say you have an iPhone ?    Open the my EE app on your iPhone when connected to cellular data then allow up to 24 hours for your account to update to show that you are using an iPhone.  Then once it charged to an iPhone you can text NEWSPLUS again. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you for your message.  It says Samsung,  I contacted the chat online and they didn’t really help and told me to text help and then if they can’t help to call Apple (I did tell them my EE said I had a Samsung).  I will try and do as you said to see if it updates. Thank you
