Virgin uses a coax cable from the box on the outside wall to their router
What cable to the new FTTP services use inside the property? IE, can they use the same cable?
I don't have a BT phone socket inside the property.
I have just had everything plastered so I don't want an engineer running cables from the outside in to my lounge - the virgin router terminates right in the middle of the property
Thanks in advance

VM infrastructure is completely diff from BT's. No BT phone socket is used for FTTP. The router can be anywhere in the house but the FTTP modem (ONT) will be on the inside wall where the fibre cable enters from outside.
Have a read of the section "How does FTTP broadband work?" of the Fibre Broadband (FTTC / FTTH) Guide
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker's Address Checker estimate for your addy? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your addy.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
