Move SIM to new phone

Hi,

 

I'm on a 24 month SIM only deal which I started in January 2021 but now I want to upgrade only my phone as my current one is on it's last legs.

 

I plan to purchase the phone outright (and unlocked). Will I be able to just move my SIM card across to the new phone and everything should work as expected or do I need to do something extra like inform EE I'm switching the phone but not contract?

@bunksy93 if you’re purchasing your own phone you can put your Sim card into that phone or any phone that you purchase it makes no difference.  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
