I Phone 8 plus blank Home Screen

Ajhumph
Visitor

I have an I phone 8 plus whose Home Screen keeps zooming in to a macro level obscuring all other functions. Does anyone have any ideas how to reset the phone instead of leaving the battery to rundown. Many thanks in advance

Go to settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then turn off Zoom.

You are enabling this by double tapping the screen with three fingers because the option is enable.  To scroll round the screen with this enabled you use three fingers on the screen.

@Ajhumph , if this happens, click volume up and then down and then the side button in quick suction, but hold the side button until the screen goes black and the Apple icon shows, it will then reboot back to normal, this happens to me and that is what I do, and works every time.
