I have a mobile number that I want to keep for sentimental reasons.
I don’t want to be connected to any provider. How do I go about it?

To have a mobile no. it must be registered to a network. I should have it moved to PAYG by calling CS & giving 30 days notice.
However to save the SIM going into hibernation due to lack of use & eventually being lost, just remember within every 179 days (~ 6 months) to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from any Pack or Add-on you might have.
If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
