Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

Yeah…there doesn’t seem to be much logic…maybe they only have iPads of certain specs…

Just called EE. My 12.9 1TB Sauce Grey ordered 30/4 at 14:18 has been picked, she said to expect a DPD notification later today, with delivery being on Monday. Man I wish you could upgrade to a Saturday delivery!

The 2TB model ordered later in May is still sat as an open sales order, so no progress on that one.

I'll update again when/if I get a DPD notification.

I just called up and was told they haven’t even been released yet and that EE have never had any stock of them 😬 Seemed a lovely person but I’m not sure where he got his info from 🤔

Will be continuously refreshing my DPD app today then 😬

Hi @cwatkins94 , The stock answer from EE seems to be ‘no stock’ but there are definitely iPads in circulation. I’m starting to think that they are getting more of certain models first, hence why they are perhaps not shipping to a strict first come first serve basis…

But the fact that John Lewis have quite a few models in stock is a good signal for stock levels generally though, I think 🤔

@Captaincocouk Yeah - felt a bit awkward telling him that they definitely have been released... and yeah, which is fair enough! You went for a 256GB Space Grey, right?

I think what's most annoying is that it's still showing the model I ordered (2TB, Silver) as in stock with despatch within one day, but that certainly isn't the case! Just have to wait it out I suppose and hope that there's not much longer to wait 🙂
