Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

I was very tempted.. I had a close look at the screen.  The bloom effect is not very noticeable, the quality of the screen generally far outweighs that one tiny issue. 

Im upgrading from a gen 3 Air and the difference is unbelievable,  

@Tomavrd , I ordered the Logitech Keyboard from Apple and got it on Friday, and it also works fine with my 2018 IPad, the backlighting works well too, when you do not have the lights turned up. Was not sure how I would feel about it, but am pleased with it, thus far, now just waiting for the new IPad pre-ordered from EE.

Glad to hear more positive thoughts..  was impressed in store with it.  I usually prefer to get OEM accessories, the Logitech does feel very ‘first party’ though.

Didn’t notice any at all.

@Tomavrd , I have several Logitech items and always find them very good. I have ordered one on Indiegogo, but due to the pandemic it is taking longer than expected, but still hope to get it soon, as should be able to connect my phone with it as well, so use it for the IPad and phone, and it will protect the IPad in the same way as this one does, we shall see.

@Tomavrd , do you mean the other keyboard case or the IPad? I am sure looking forward to both, and the Apple TV replacement, which also came on Friday, which I set up and then froze, rebooted and restarted it and nothing there, blank screen. It is being picked up, and Apple have put me at the top of the list for a replacement instead of at the back of the cue, as it was brand new! I already have one which I wanted to put elsewhere, and the new one in the sitting room.

 

@Captaincocouk I am sure you will love it, I have the 2018 model and it is very good, but looking forward to this new one, and that should do me for the next several years I hope!

@Schockwave The Indiegogo one, I looked at a couple on there which looked decent.

 

Shame about the AppleTV, I’m holding out a bit on upgrading mine, got a 4K one at the moment… although may spring for the new remote!
