How to keep number from pay as you go to contract

I'm switching from EE pay as you go to EE contract - I received the phone earlier (ordered from mobiles.co.uk) with a new sim and number. Is there a way I can transfer my old number to the new sim?

@Hannahdrozd  call customer services and request the change of number to your new contract. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
