How to get an eSIM for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G

I have a Samsung phone (Note 10+) and a 4G Samsung Galaxy Watch. Currently I'm with BT on a SIM only plan, its great value - £25 a month for 200GB and highest 4G speed the network can do. My 18 month contract is coming to an end next month and I'd like to come to a network that can provide an eSIM for my Galaxy Watch, for the last 18 months its been used with Bluetooth connection only.

Here's the query - can I get an eSIM whilst on a pay as you go plan with EE? Before I was with BT I had been with EE for around 8 years and did have 2 handset plans, smartwatch plan (both watch and eSIM), tablet plan and some add to plans. All this resulted in an expensive bill, around £250 per month. I afforded that just fine until I had an issue with my business, income dropped and I started falling behind with bills including EE. So in the end my account with EE was closed. This means I'll never be able to get an actual contract with EE again.

I completely accept that if I ever want any new devices I'll have to buy them outright, and I'm also happy to have a pay as you go plan with a network if they won't offer a contract due to credit rating (BT allow me to have 2 SIM only contracts, one for phone one for tablet, but they don't do eSIMs despite actually owning and running on the EE network, that's why I'm looking at other networks that do offer eSIMS when my BT plans end). However from all the research I've done so far it appears EE don't do eSIMs unless you sign up to 2 actual contracts, one for the phone and one for the eSIM?

If anyone knows any different I'd be happy to hear including any other suggestions - from what I can see though with my situation it may only be possible for me to get an eSIM if a family member actually takes out the contract with EE and I put my payment details down to pay the bill? Would also appreciate if someone could advise on the cost of an eSIM plan (just the eSIM itself as I already have the watch). Thanks for the help!

@Sparky1986   You can only have a watch tariff if the phone is on contract that can be a sim only contract.

while BT owns EE they are separate companies. BT is a MVNO network that just uses the EE network to give their customers a mobile network.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
