Hi,

My contract has finished and as I want to change networks I received a pac code and sent to new network provider, but it seems they changed my old EE number to their network super quick.

But as a result I am unable to unlock my phone on the EE website, as it wont recognize my imei number!

It finds the phone initially but then says I need to fill out an additional form but as my number has been migrated already I am unable to proceed.

Have tried to contact EE but they want my number and of course it is no longer recognised

Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yes it was on a 24 month contract which ended yesterday 26/02/21 but because the number has been ported to giff gaff I cant get phone unlocked despite calling the EE automated responses.

Will have to wait til Monday and speak to a real person
