That's not changed as of yet 😪😪👎👎 so don't think I will have it for tomorrow, you would a company like EE would have them ready and waiting so everyone got there on the release day or before like other companies O2 or Vodafone..
Haven't heard anything about mine, if it doesn't show up tomorrow I'm just going to go into town and see if any of the other networks have them in store.
Ordered a 256gb green model on 16/06. But I had originally ordered a lavender model the week before and when I called up to ask since the site never sent me an order confirmation I was told the lavender one was on back order, so I cancelled and reordered over the phone.
Would have been nice if the site had actually told me that
Yeah with a phone like this you would think be on the ball abit better,
All depands on the store for holding stock, my closet on would be Edinburgh or Glasgow and even than I was told might not have them as not a big store, so do a little checking before you go in store.
I'm in Plymouth. Honestly I feel your pain. We've all been here so many times, waiting for a new toy and constantly checking for updates!
I think it's even worse for us lot than the rest of the public. The public post here if they have problems, we post because we are geeks and love the tech! 😂
Looks like your order has followed the 'happy path' , let's hope that the rest of us will get a DPD confirmation later today or first thing tomorrow, but really shouldn't have to be second guessing whether we are getting something 1 day before it's due to be delivered. Not rocket science. EE know how many pre-orders been placed and stock will have been sitting in their warehouse for at least 3 days ( know that as work for major electrical retailer and used to get pre-order updates) , so simple case of cross-checking both lists( if Santa can do it for millions I'm sure EE can do it for a couple of Thousand 🙂
I completely agree with you in terms of it should absolutely go to plan. It might possibly be down to Samsung as I know last years folds were delayed as a result of Samsung not delivering on time to EE. Despite that, it really should just work. If you pre-order I do think it should be delivered on day of release. Like you say, it's not rocket science!
Has anybody tried phoning 150 this morning to ask for an update? I've not received any text or app notification from DPD and my check order status screen hasn't changed either 😞 maybe I'm just being impatient haha!
