the problem is with EE is they order a limited amount of new phones then use the pre order numbers to order more, therefore not wasting money by being overstocked, from a money making point of view it makes great sense, from a customer point of view it upsets us, mainly because we feel we have been cheated or conned, unfortunately not the peoples on the phones fault or the website, they are being told the same lie
Yes totally get that, plus the guy on the phone was really great that I dealt with. Just a bit disappointed. When I called into an EE store a few days before placing my pre-order the staff there told me that they have Fold 3s in stock but weren't allowed to open the boxes until the 27th, so there is stock around but I guess interest may have been higher than expected.
I pre ordered on the 20th aswell,just spoke to upgrade team,its showing its been picked and expected delivery 27th.Told me I might only get notification in the morning from dpd,but according to is system its been picked so still hope 😆
That's really reassuring - good luck! 🙂 The guy on chat did say mine had been picked but advised it could be three working days after the 27th until I get it :'( Never mind!
