I have a TPLink MR600 AC1200 4G LTE Version1 with an unlimited data SIM (all purchased early Feb.)
I have been trying different external antenna versus the standard supplied paddle types.
Considering the download speeds only (unless the upload is significant - it is actually much greater than download btw)
With paddles - I get at best 5Mbps
With a Poynting omni directional external A-XPOL-0001 I get at best 10Mbps
With a Poynting directional external A-XPOL-0002-V2 i get at best 11.3Mbps
My neighbour (pointing in the same direction) uses the EE supplied antenna and gets around 50Mbps !
Are there compatibility issues with the TPLink MR600 and the Poynting antenna OR does anybody know what antenna the EE supplied one actually is?

Hi @ChrisAmyPhillip,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
The router manufacturer would be best placed to advise you on which antennas are compatible with your device.
