Hi,

Many thanks to all those that have helped me try to solve my problem.

I have abandoned using ethernet d-links as i could not get the d-links to sync or pair.

I relocated my router so that i could hard wire the router ports directly to the TV and YouView box eliminating the need for d-links.

@LordRoy  is the powerline still paired with another one, and have you tried to reconnect the TV to the internet. Depending on who you were with before you may be on a different ip range.

Many thanks for your help and advice.Much appreciated. Unfortunately, despite
trying your suggestions I have still not found the solution.

@LordRoy  Is the TV getting an ip address?

Have you tried connecting a Laptop or other device with an ethernet connection =

firstly on the router port

then the other end of the powerline

Are you getting ip addresses/internet connectivity at any of these points?

Hi
The test I have done is direct ethernet cable from port on router directly to ethernet connection on back of "You View" Box. The result removed the error I was experiencing. This proved my problem is with the ethernet link. I have tried 3 different D — Link kits without success. It seems the router is not recognising the presence of the d — link.

Or your D Links are not sync'd to each other.

Have you considered this or checked?

Hi, thank you for your last suggestion, and because I can get it to work with direct ethernet cable connection, your last suggests checking if the D-Links are linked or paired. As a novice at this, can you please instruct me how to check and how to pair the d-links? On each d-link there are three leds and both d-links have 2 lit and occasionaly flashing and the middle led off.

Please help!
